SpaceBank begins before money. It begins where a physical event becomes measurable: energy is produced, demand is reduced, capacity is released, a computation is completed or the origin of a resource is verified.
Echelon holds the entire path from physical fact to institutional memory. SpaceBank is its legal, financial and settlement body.
Echelon was designed in 2012–2013. Active development began in 2014, the first independently recorded point at which the system was described as a distinct architecture with a long-horizon mission.
The concept predates the current wave of generative AI, large language models and autonomous agents. From the beginning, Echelon was conceived as a layer above individual models: a compact fundamental core connecting human intelligence, machine systems, energy, finance, law and the management of complex worlds.

Most of Echelon still operates in stealth. The full team, its internal groups and much of its research have never been disclosed.
Its functional circles include bankers, people with central-banking experience, energy engineers, AI specialists, world-model architects, lawyers, cosmonauts and people connected with aerospace agencies. Each group sees one layer. Echelon is built to preserve the whole.
The original mission was off-world. Echelon is designed for environments where external help may be unavailable, communication with Earth is delayed, resources are finite and a single error can affect the existence of the entire system.
It must coordinate energy, compute, life support, transport, production, medicine, rights, obligations, resource allocation and institutional memory across decades and across changes of people, hardware and political structures.
In the early internal formula, the final verb was deliberately harsher: destroy. In engineering terms it means the controlled and irreversible termination of a created system after its mission is exhausted, when it becomes irreversibly unsafe or when it threatens a larger environment.
A world may be an orbital station, a spacecraft, an autonomous settlement, a planetary base, an energy ecosystem, a digital environment or an economic system. Controlled closure requires protection of life, settlement of obligations, preservation of knowledge, isolation of dangerous processes and safe deactivation of infrastructure.
Echelon is wider than a language model. Models are replaceable components. The core preserves ontology, goals, constraints, memory, permissions, evidence thresholds, open functions and the history of decisions.
Its identity survives changes of model vendor, compute substrate and generation of hardware. Parameter count is secondary. Continuity of state is fundamental.
Selection, education and routing of human and machine intelligences. Memory, coordination, verification and responsibility.
A research path for hybrid intelligence based on non-invasive brain-computer interfaces.

Observation, calculation, hypothesis, engineering concept and verified result remain distinct states. A measured effect becomes a financial right only through a contract, a method, an accountable party, an oracle and an enforceable settlement condition.

Echelon was created and initially developed in Serbia. The library of the Nikola Tesla Archive became a principal intellectual source, together with the research of Alex Ananin and other participants.
The reference describes the origin of knowledge and method. It does not claim institutional participation by the museum. In the project’s interpretation, Tesla’s legacy connects physical phenomenon, transmission, infrastructure, patent and implementation as one system.
Every autonomous world needs an accounting system for value. It must know who owns energy, who may use compute, how contribution is measured, how scarce resources are allocated, what secures an obligation and what happens to rights when the world changes or closes.
SpaceBank is the institutional form of that function. Energy creates physical possibility. Compute creates intelligence and output. Finance creates rights, obligations, price and exchange. Echelon preserves their common origin.
